Dr. New’s practice
Apr. 7th, 2003   9:44pm

Dear Risty,

Congratulations on Ben’s birth. Dr. New is my daughter’s doctor, and she occasionally will bring in students to the meeting with my daughter ( maybe once per year this occurs). Cornell is a teaching hospital, and I have learned to accept the occasional intrusion. But, the students only come in during the conversation part of the appointment, never during the exam. The exam is always done by the regular fellow assigned to your child. My daughter’s fellow is Natasha Leibel and she is terrific.

I also want to let you know about our organization. We are a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting and educating parents and individuals affected by CAH. I am available by telephone to help in anyway that I can. I also have some articles and materials I can email/mail to you that can help with your questions. I can also put you in touch with other CAH parents in your area.  I live in suburban NJ.

Please let us know how we can help or if we can answer any questions for you. You can register to be on our mailing/email list for our newsletters (free of charge-3x year) by going to our web site registration page, http://www.caresfoundation.org/form.html.

Sincerely,
Kelly R. Leight, Executive Director
