I want to thank everyone for responding so quickly to me.  You all have impressed me with your willingness to share and your kindness.  I have been visiting this site since October when our grandbaby was born and we were told of this situation.  We are blessed to have a large, strong and very supportive family.  And now we have all of you too.  What a fine group of people you all are.  I want to urge the people who have success stories to write and contribute more.  I went all this while not asking anything because of so many horror stories.  I guess I didn’t want to ask and have them confirmmed.  I know there are quite a few out there, my heart goes out to you.   There are many good stories out there also and I believe they should be heard on this board and not intimidated by others who disagree.  The wisest statement was sent to me that there isn’t one right  answer.  A family needs to do their research(of which this foundation contributes much useful and needed information) and make the best decission for them and their child.  Not easy to do for sure, but with faith, love, and support I feel we (including our children) can face and deal with whatever comes into our lives.  Heartfelt thanks to you all.
