Sorry, my SWCAH daughter does not have asthma, but her 10 year old brother does.  So I am no help in the steroid combo advice, but I have to share that once we started him on Singulair  the number of asthma episodes has dramatically decreased!  It has been amazing how few times we’ve had to give him prednisone since we started this preventative 3 years ago.
