 My daughter is about to turn 3 and she had the surgery at 6 mths. of age. She breezed right through it! She woke up from the anesthesia and never cried the first time. She woke up ready to play. The worst part of the whole experience was getting myself all  worked up thinking of the worst possible scenarios. I worried so much about her being in pain after the surgery and things like that, but she acted like it never even bothered her!!   I know we made the right decision for our daughter. Good Luck.
