I’m just throwing this out there although I realize that this is not true with all asthma. My sister’s daughter was often sick as a young child. My sister nebulized her daily and when she was really bad, around the clock. She was said to have asthma was on Singulair and antibiotics costantly. She took her to an alternative doctor (yes MD but looked beyond the regular range of most MDs). He tested her for food allergies, she has many. This has to be the valid test not just the skin prick. The NGE test is good as well as where the inject a little under the skin, hard to find a doctor that does these more reliable tests. Anyway, it’s been 1 1/2 years since the diet change. It’s been hard to do and to stick to. Some things total elimination and others rotating 4 days on/off. Well, she could be the DRs poster child!! She has only been on antibiotics once and only one episode of nebulizing necessary!! No more asthma. It’s truly remarkable and a miracle. This child is soooo healthy now. Anyway, this may not be the cause for your child but I thought I would share a success story with asthma. JuliaJulia S
