We had a really hard time giving our son the salt too!  Nothing really seemed to make it easier & we struggled through, but after 3 weeks, our endo had him taken off it.  We had his blood tests done weekly for awhile after that, and all was well for us.  I know that’s not the norm here in the states, and I know every child is different, but if your little one’s levels are okay, I wouldn’t be worried.  Danny is 10 mos old, and so far he’s done great!
