Some people confuse CAH and Addison’s and think it is same. They are close....but Addison’s condition - produces not cortisol.  CAH - the person produces some (something - very little) cortisol.  Both not be salt wasting. CAH is genetic condition... and Addison is usually from adrenal gland failing due to illness or disease (infection) or being removed.  Addison is more common in people in their 40’s but children can have it.
