My 4 1/2 year old daughter has been wearing her MedicAlert bracelet on her wrist since she was diagnosed at 15-months. It has come off twice. The first time at age 18-months when she had a cystoscopy. It had already become so much of her that she didn’t want it off and was happy when I put it back on. The second time was just a few months ago when we had to add some links.

As with Tonia -- I highly recommend having the baby/child start wearing their bracelet as soon as they are diagnosed.
