Roberta,
You just posted about the medic alert bracelets and what to do in crisis.  You have said things along this line many times.  The first time I read your words, they frightened me, even though we had already been down that road  a few times.  I want to THANK YOU!  Those words can be hard to hear, but it is reality with our children and I can only imagine the pain of the reality you know.  Everytime I want to second guess about solu-cortef or a trip to the ER, or especially when our endo recently said he didn’t feel our oldest daughter was "sick" enough to go to the ER, I always hear your voice (actually my voice, your words from the board:) ) in my head.  So thank you thank you thank you Roberta!  Please keep being an advocate!  I think sometimes it is very easy to second guess ourselves and it is difficult to  insist to a doctor that you think they are wrong, but mothers and fathers really do know best.  Thanks again Roberta, I think you are a very special person.  You’ve probably saved my daughters’s lives on more than one occasion.
Blessings,
Tonia
