In the community where I live wearing a medical alert bracelet would be absolutely peculiar.  There are children with diabetes and other medical codndition but I have never seen anyone with a medical alert bracelet roaming the streets here.  If I’ll send my child to school with one it will be the perfect object for the kids in his class to pose fun of.  My son is suffering enough as it is and I don’t want him to be an object of laughter.
