I believe it’s .05mg of Prednisone.  I sent the prescription to be filled and haven’t gotten it back yet, so I haven’t started on the new meds.  My endo was reacting to my concerns about weight, hair growth, achy joints, etc.  I’ve heard others have dropped weight and hair growth has decreased after being placed on Florinef.

The problem is that I don’t know what I am.  I was diagnosed at birth, but not placed on meds until I was 4 years old.  I’ve been trying to obtain medical records from birth to 5 years, as I have from 5 years to present.  My mother has told me when I was younger I was placed in the hospital for testing.  They were testing my sodium retention.  She said the tests came back normal. 

I’m really at a loss here.  I have another appointment in July for follow up labs, but am curious about others’ reactions to these meds.  If I still cannot gain access to my early medical records by my next appointment, I am going to insist upon further testing.
