I just wanted to update all of you who wrote articles for the TX CAHOOT Newsletter about a year ago. Well, I have been checking up on it for the last year and got the run around for a long time.  I was told the newsletter was at the printers. Well, I didn’t buy that a printer would take one year to print the darn newsletter!!! So I found out that due to Carolyn Scruggs retirement (the wonderful newborn screening nurse who took the CAHOOT on as her baby) and other position changes along with budget cuts, the articles had been lost somewhere!!!! The new  newborn screening nurse Paula, was wonderful in working with me to find out what happened. Somehow she was able to find them on a hard drive somewhere and hopefully now we can get those articles to the printer!

So, for all of you who submitted articles, thank you and I hope (and I will keep checking) that it gets to the printers for real this time!!
