Hi Heather,

Our daughter was 15 months old when she had surgery and I realized we should have done it sooner.  She was already way too mobile at that time and didn’t want to lay or sit still for more than 2 minutes.  She pulled her catheter out several times trying to walk around and almost pulled some stitches out.  I would think maybe having the surgery sooner (before baby can walk or crawl) might be an advantage.
