KarenI am still new to this whole CAH issue. I don’t have much of my own experience yet ragarding many of the possible side affects it causes. I did speak to a thirty five year old woman though, who has lived all her life with CAH and she told me that in the summer she can’t walk on the street without wearing a hat. She claims that heat is one of the worst things for her. She can very easily get dehydrated and burnt if she doesn’t whatch out. According to the way she sees it all people with CAH are like that. Now that I know already more about CAH I think that this conclusion is more than a bit exaggerated. I believe that this can be the case with severe salt losers or others who don’t take the medication as they should but certainly not with everyone.
Talking about this woman, there is another thing that she told me which leaves me wondering. Is it true that the tears of people with CAH don’t taste salty?
