MOMIsn’t that the truth, about the parents knowing more than the doctors, but in my opinion why should someone not be held accountable for their negligence? There should be no excuses for some of these docs to think they know more than the parents. When they are presented with complete evidence of something and totally deny or ignore it because they don’t want to admit that they are wrong then they are digging a hole for themselves. You know I read about how we should just accept how the doctors don’t know alot about this etc., well this condition has been around for quite a while, how much more do you need to know. If someone makes a diagnosis then they better be able to explain why it is what it is. All I really am concerned about is putting someone on medicine for years of their lives, and the impact it could have if your child never needed it in the first place. I wonder how any parent who questions this diagnosis for their child would react if they found out their child was being treated for many years and then found out they didn’t have it. And the only way to proove that is by perserverence. Thanks again for your input.
