I was on dex during my last pregnancy.I gained about 50-55lbs,more than my other pregnancies.I developed very dark stretch marks,I was irritable,but I worked night shift and had 2 other children at home so I dont know if that was related to the dex. My daughter was 6lbs at birth(on dex treatment)1 week early.My son was 8lbs4oz,my middle child was 7lbs12oz 1week early.So in my case I think it was related to the dex therapy.My first child now 10 has swcah,dx at 8 days .

To me all the side effects or possible side effects are worth it ,Maddison is now 14 mos old,weighs 17lbs,but is doing very well.
