AndrewHi
This is a big factor for our 2.5 year old. He needs banana and a drink after swimming, and we have to be on our guard after parties too - not just at the party, but checking that night too, as he sleeps. One time we felt him feverish and he then wouldn’t wake up properly the night after his brother’s birthday party. Extra meds soon had him back, although we were in the hospital by then, as a precaution.
CAH makes extended crying episodes, stuffy rooms and hot cars something we are very aware of, but I would stress that it is not a "knife-edge" situation - rather, it is a general caution. Something to monitor, not to worry or panic about.
