In the end I look at debates like this and ask myself what they are meant to achieve. Are they supposed to make me feel lucky as a parent because SOME people feel this condition is easier to manage than diabetes? I don’t feel lucky at all. I feel offended that people would even compare the two and feel it is less hassle having a child with CAH. To me it IS a big deal having a child with it. I don’t really care how other’s have to dose their kid’s. They get an easier life in other areas of their life such as the Doctor knowing what their child has when they roll up at A &E with a sick kid---good treatment due to knowledge and better support because it is more common.Anne-Marie
