Yes, we always double-dosed for vaccines, and also gave motrin before getting the vaccine (did this about two hours before vaccine time).  I had two older children, watched them go through the vaccines, then they would run 102-103 degree fevers.  I was bound and determined to not let the SWCAH twins run this type of fever from the vaccines.  They did perfect, fever never went over 100 with all the vaccines, often even ran no fever ( ... relief).
