I have 2 SWCAH children.  My 7 year old SWCAH boy looks tan all year round.  He doesn’t really burn at all.  My 6 year old SWCAH daughter has very fair ivory skin, and she burns a little, but never seems to tan.  She does however get more and more freckles as she gets older.  I am very big on protecting their faces with SPF all the time as we live in Florida and they are outdoors all the time.
