Hi Carol,

I was hopeful that the medication,(flutamide, arimidex) and the monthly injection of Lupron would help control his precocious puberty, and to possible lower his Cortef dose, that is why I decided to try this. He has a height prediction of 5’2",his bone age is about 15yr,he is 10 1/2. He does have a problem with EXCESSIVE weight gain and now an insulin resistance problem,he takes another med for that.

I am not saying that I think this would not be benefical for your son ,maybe he started this too late, maybe this is as far as his "benefits" from this  regimen of meds will go.I am just concerned and upset that he didnt have a greater response to this.

I will talk to his endo and she what she recommends. How old is your son, what is his bone age? Please email me if you have any questions

His endo just increased the dose on his Lupron injection for the third time,he has been on it for 1  1/2 yrs.

Please let me know if you have any questions
