Anne-MarieThere seem to be so many drugs there that relatively little isknown about where long term side-effects on kids either. I guess kids are meant to have a small trace of test and basically they do get that on conventional treatment when cortisol levels fall low a few hours after a dose. However with something like Flutamide blocking androgens, I don’t think you’d even have that trace in the kids the same over a 24 hour period. Test and the androgen are important for growth. Knock them on the head and you obviously slow or stunt it to my mind. The other concern for me is the cut back in cortisol. Should it be lower than the norm, I wonder if it is really that good for kids when they are quite stressed and on such lowered levels. Just my two cents worth..
I’d say if it isn’t working, get the child off them. Gut instinct.
