My daughter is 11 and just started taking dex.  The doctor started her off at .75mg a day I think because her levels were way off.  She gained 20 pounds in three months and is starting to get acne on her face.  The doctor has now reduced her medication to .25mg a day.  He said she should loose the weight and her acne should clear up.   I want to know if this has happened to anyone and does anyone know if there is any side effects from this medication?
