My kids did once a day but in Germany it is twice or three times a day.  The plasma renin was high so spreading it across the day helped and in smaller dosage. The Germans seems to be more accurate with the testing too. We do a salvia test - before the medication - three times.  And 24-hour urine and the blood tests.
