I was thinking more in terms of them both being high in the blood serum at the same time and then not being high enough later.  Seems rather inconsistent with the way aldosterone is released to me to be honest, or cortisol for that matter.  They both rise, fall, rise and fall throughout a day etc.  They don’t rise to abov physiological levels and then fall to extremes below them a the other end of a 24 hour period.
