Hi Carol,

We get a box of a 100 3 ml (with caps on the ends) syringes every year.  We have to throw ours out when they become old because the numbers wear off or they stop working.  By stop working I mean they just don’t slide up and down anymore or the black rubber "stopper" at the end of the syringe comes off and won’t go back on.  I use the syringes 3 times a day and a new syringe lasts about 1-2 weeks before I have to pitch it in the garbage.   I also use these same syringes for my daughter’s injections of solu-cortef if needed so if that happens then I have to throw them away after that (of course).  I hope this explanation makes sense.
