SusanPSorry to just answer. She was getting headaches after every game which didn’t go away (on a normal cortef dose). She would also become lethargic enough after the games to take a nap...warning. She overheated once enough to vomit. I gave her the injection and tripled her. She bounced back, but I made the mistake of not taking her to the ER. Huge mistake. My endo said we were lucky she recovered o.k. The last time she had a stomach bug I gave the injection and immeadiately headed to the ER. That is what you would do for dehydration. We were tripling in advance if very hot or a tournament day but she stopped growing up, just out. So this year we are more conservative. I push gatorade (because they also need the sugar) and double a couple of hours in advance if over 75F. What is saving us this year is her move to goal on hot days and the cool spring in the East. I’ll let you know how it goes at the humidity and heat go up.
