I am going through exactly the same thing as you at the moment with my 8 yr old, like you I noticed hairs while bathing her but she also had spots on her forehead and her hair was getting greasy I contacted our consultant but because of the easter holidays couldn’t see him until last week. He was great at allaying my fears and has started her on hydrocortisone at lunch time as well as morning and night while he waits on blood results to come through. The biggest problem I have now is that my daughter is boasting to her friends that she is becoming a teenager!! I keep getting strange looks off other parents but I refuse to discuss my daughter’s medical and personal life for the titillation of parents in the playground!! Keep your chin up and keep pressing for at the very least a blood test Good luck!!
