Susan A.Tom - Were you quite tall as a young child and then ended up shorter than siblings or other family members? Most of us with LOCAH are shorter - unless we got on meds at an early age. Did you start through puberty early? (body hair, facial hair, etc) The anxiety surely goes with LOCAH, the acne does too. Do you have a lot of headaches? That was the number one deal for me - in highschool I came home and went to bed every day because of the pain of the headaches. Low bloodpressure goes with adrenal problems, so does a tendency toward being hypoglycemic. Problems with dizziness and staring off into space? This stuff messes with your concentration - when your cortisol is too low. Most of us do much better (weight wise too) with low carbs and low sugar eating. I wasn’t diagnosed until age 19 and suffered with the symptoms for many years. It also can mess with your fertility too. (men and women) I would see an endocrinologist and ask for a Cortrosyn Stimulation Test - they take a blood draw - give you a shot of Cortrosyn and then do another blood draw. The test measures the reaction of your adrenals and tells if they are functioning like they should.
Hope that helps.
