I used to rinse them immediately after every use in hot water and sterilise it in boiling water for about 10 mins and did this for a whole year with the same set of syringes and nothing happened ! Try the Baxa ones , p’haps their quality is better.

I was using the pharmacy prepared suspension of Cortef for 11 months and then we had to travel overseas. With the refrigeration requirement and low stability it was not an option anymore, so I had the pharmacist crush the pill and make individual doses and put them in tiny gelatin capsules. I even use different size gelatin capsules for different strengths. This I just open and pour on a baby spoon and straight it goes into her mouth. Sometimes I use a little water to make it easier but other than that I use the pill straight.

If syringes are becoming too much of a problem, p’haps you can try the spoon method.
