re: dex treatment

Hi!  I heading for 24 weeks and have been taking dex since my 5th week of pregnancy.  I am having a girl and she tested postive for CAH.  I take .5 mg 3x a day (total 1.5).  Ann Carlson at Dr. New’s office told me because I was 135 lbs pre-pregnancy I could cut back to 1.3 total per day but how do you cut out 2 tenths?  I haven’t had any major side effects and the baby is doing well.  I had a Level 2 ultrasound last Friday and they said her genitals look normal (yeah!).  So no you aren’t dreaming it is supposed to be by weight by my doctor just went with the specialist’s recommendation who never asked about my weight.  It just worked out that way.  I think it can be subjective unless you start to have the serious side effects then they need to re-evaluate.  Did this help at all?  I apologize if I made it more confusing.
