Hi again,

Nane, Sorry if I wasn’t clear.  Yes, I am having a girl and she tested positive for CAH.

Carrie, I was told the dex makes you hungry.  I will admit in the beginning I was ravenous.  Someone told me a story about a woman on dex that went into a diner ate a burger and fries then ordered another burger and fries.  I have never done that but if I didn’t stop myself I could eat and eat and eat.

I also had trouble sleeping in the beginning.  But I think I fell asleep to early, around 8 or so and then at midnight I would wake up and it was like taking a 4 hour nap so I would be up for awhile before being able to get back to sleep.  Now, I try to make myself stay awake until 10 when I take my last dose and eat a healthy snack so I don’t wake up hungry.

And I too am thirsty all the time.  I went for an early diabetes test.  Gestational diabetes is one of the risks so make sure you doctor runs the test.  My specialist is having me take one now and again in the 8th month.

The other thing I have is horrible acne on my shoulders and back.  But I can live with all that as long as Caitlin (that is what we plan on naming her) comes out ok.

Hope I helped.
