Sorry for the double post but I was just reading some of the other posts and noticed the one about the visit to the ER. Our endo hasn’t really touched on stress shots except to tell us that our daughter (who will be 3 months old on June 2) will need them before and after surgery and if she gets sick. My question is this, what happens if she needs it NOW? Are they supposed to give us her parents the shots so we can administer them to her should it be needed or just let the endo on call or whoever determine if she needs the shot?

Also when should we get the Medic Alert Bracelet for her? I assumed not until she is school age, but am not sure.
