Our endo feels that it isn’t as important for our son to have a Medic Alert bracelet right now (he’s 11 mos old) as he’s always in our care -however, I just don’t want the scenario where there is a car accident & we are unconscious or worse & he could be helped simply with a shot.  Regarding the emergency situations for solu-cortef, it really is important to have it on hand.  Don’t hesitate to ask your endo for details and always ask here because there are so many before us who have great knowledge & experience -Don’t worry/stress, just be prepared.  I know I felt like I was wishing his babyness away so that I could tell how he would react in situations -it really does get better & you realize you have a "normal" -if that’s ever the case :) -child who just needs extra caution.  Best wishes!!
