With both our CAH kids we were told to give them salt water (Paid $7 buck for it with Jonathan), but never could get them to take all the doctor prescribed. On the next appointment when we asked, he said not to worry about it, just get them to take asmuch as we could.

All kids are different, and it might be that some really may need it. Then again it might be that the endo just prescribes it routinely. That’s why it’s good to develope a trusting relationship with your endo, so he or she will be straight with you about the needs of your child.
