robertaBack in the history files - there were discussion on how to mix the salt solution. Are you bottle feeding? If so just add the salt (table salt) to the formula about 1/8 tsp per bottle. Is what I remember doing with my bottle fed baby with CAH. Extra salt is lost in the urine. Babies urine so much this is a very difficult thing to control. There is no danager of too much salt because of the CAH. Not enough salt is more of a problem with the salt wasting form of CAH. Plus it not the only factor - 17OHP and plasma renin are more critical blood test. Do you have solu-cortef?
