LynnTWhat a wonderful story. I had read somewhere that many studies show that siblings of children with "special needs" develop a deeper sense of compassion and a greater tolerance for others with physical differences.
It also stated that many of the siblings grow up and choose a career in the health care profession and/or in the field of education. Nobel professions to be sure.
Have you noticed any of your children brandishing a stethoscope or a chalkboard more often then "normal"?
