I remember when your son was going through this as we were having many troubles with the liquid cortef ourselves.  We met each other at the MAGIC convention days before Upjohn announced their recall.  I’m glad that your son is making progress!  It just saddens me that he had to go through this, as well as our daughter.

What tests do they run for precocious puberty?  Is Lupron and GH the only way to stop what has already started to happen in her?

Her endo is concerned about her growth.  My husband is 6 feet tall and I am not quite 5 ft 3 in.  She has always been in the 10th % for height.  So he is concerned that if she goes into puberty too early she will lose 3 to 5 inches of her adult stature.  They predict her adult height at this point with no complications to be around 5 ft 2 in.  Her bone age indicated a year + growth at her wrist area and 2 1/2 years growth at her finger tips.  Her bone ages have always been behind but in 8 months, her bone age almost matches her chronological age.
Thanks for your response and your support!
