I am due Dec. 6th. My ob was the same one who delivered my 3 son, SVCAH. Although at the time we had no idea he had it since he was diagnosed through newborn screening and didn’t start his meds until he was about 30 days old. I chose to stay with my regular ob instead of  a high risk one since my new baby has the same type of CAH that my 2 yr old has. I still want to be prepared for what kind of blood work they will do before they start him on meds.  The only problem is that my ob has never had a CAH baby delivery that he knew of. In fact I think my 2 yr old was the first time he had ever heard of CAH. The one good thing about him is that he is so supportive and so right there emotional with me that you can tell he truly cares about his patients. I will maybe ask the high risk ob at my next ultrasound what he recommends. I just wanted to get some first hand mom/dad experience.
