I had a c-section (not planned) and the staff and my OB were great with us. I was so nervous waiting for her to be born.I was on dex the whole pregnancy but I was still worried about her genitalia.She was so alert and beautiful. I was able to see her after delivery ,they took her to the NICU just as a precaution and have her labs drawn and meds given.My endo had sent a letter to my OB with directions on what to do when she was born.She wanted to be called when the baby was born ,but it was after hours so the fellow at CHOP took the call and was aware of the situation. everything went well. She had to have daily lytes checked for weeks about 3 weeks that was hard because she was so little.She is doing great now but she just wont grow she is very small.
