re: Weight management and group situations

We have had this problem with Ashley Chris.  Less since he was dosed differently, but in the past it just seemed that he was more pre occupied with what food was around the house or available than  the other kids are.  They accept that lollies and sweets are just a treat.  If it were up to Ashley, he would have them every day.  He also craves the wrong types of foods when his cortisol levels are high such as dredges of butter on potatoes and on his bread and I cringe at the combination really because I feel sure he will have a weight problem as an adult if his med’s are not correct.  Recently we had a stint of normal dosing because of my knee injury and I saw a dramatic change in the way he ate, what he ate and also his moods.  He was only dosed like that for two weeks as I couldn’t get out of bed due to my knee being painful, and no one else to take over dosing here, so I gave him the later dose at 12pm and went to bed.  We got the "old" Ashley back within days and I can see that there is a correlation with dosing like that and the way he behaves now and what he craves.  Not good really.   Needless to say, we had him off the conventional way of dosing and back on circadian dosing asap.  I note that it only took 2 weeks for him to look puffy around the gills and put some weight on around the middle and even though we have switched back, it still hasn’t gone.  Eeasily gained and a long time to come off it seems.
