By exactly the same, I mean take the whole daily dose and double and triple it and then divide it into four and dose each one six hourly.  I give Ash 16.25 mg per day so for example I would triple it = 16.25x3 = 48.75.  I round that off to 50 mg.  I then divide it by 4 =  12.5 mg every 6 hourly.

Sometimes we have dosed up to x5 times more than his normal daily dose in certain situations though.  It’s pretty much the same as if your were conventional dosing really when they are ill.  If you can dose every 4 hourly (like everytime you give pamol or paracetomol ) then all the better for them.
