From what our ped endo has told me, she has a hard enough time getting parents to be complient at dosing every 8 hours -- let alone trying to get them to do something in the middle of the night.

(Similarly, how many people do you know who quit taking their antibiotics as soon as they start feeling better?)

I’m sure there are lots of reasons behind parents not being complient -- but my guess is that much of it has to do with education -- trying to get parents to truely understand why it should be done.  CAH affects people in all socio-economic status, people with a wide varity of experience and trust in doctors, people of many different cultures.
