What time do you get Ashley’s blood drawn?  We get Jackson’s blood drawn two hours after the morning meds just because the children’s hospital is so far and I have tried the local hospital for blood draws and there have been too many problems.  We have done it this way for a very long time. Actually, because Esoterix said they didn’t get enough sample this last round, I had Jackson’s blood drawn two times one week apart. The time of the draw and Jackson reaction to the stick were the same. The two 17ohp results though, except for the renin, were completely off. The first one the 17ohp was 45ng/dl and the second, one week later was 1095ng/dl.  Go figure!! Because the results were sent to my ped instead of the endo, I faxed the results to the endo a while back and I have yet to get a call back from her. Jackson is on 6.25mg of cortef and half a pill of florinef( contrary to one endo’s suggestion, our endo in TX wants him on it) We are dosing on the circadian rhythm and I was confused as to why these results were so off.

It is frustrating to say the least.
