Hi Kathy,

I’m so happy you’re leading a very normal & happy life.  I can only wish the same for my daughter.  She’s only 19 months old.  She’s very active & happy but my  only concern right now is the surgery.  Can you tell me if you had the surgery and what are your feelings towards it?  Me and my husband have decided to put it off for now.  We’re so afraid it will be botched and I don’t want her blaming us for it.  I’m also worried about her growth.  She’s only 20 lbs. at 19 months.  The doctor’s say she’s doing great but when she’s next to kids her own age, she looks months younger and the remarks I sometimes get is so hurtful.  Of course I’ve told no one of her condition.  I’m sorry I’m rambling, I just have no one to talk to about this.
