re: What kind of schedule for meds do you have for your child?

Sherry,

With a little practice, you shouldn’t have to wake your daughter to give her the meds.  When Olivia was little I was able to put the syringe of cortef&juice or Cortef&water in her mouth and squirt and she would keep on sleeping.  This was only at the 10 pm dose so I don’t know what would happen if I had tried to do the morning or afternoon dose that way.

Since Olivia has been about 2 to 2 1/2 (it’s been long enough that I really can’t remember!) I have just put the cortef tablet in her mouth (behind the teeth so it can’t be spit out) and she chews it in her sleep.

Right now our med schedule is 6/2/10. But I am considering a change to 5/1/9 so I can go to bed earlier.

Good luck,

Janet
