re: What kind of schedule for meds do you have for your child?--a different answer

My answer is a little different than the others’ who have posted. I have twins, 7 months, both with CAH.  They take meds 3 times as well, but we don’t go by any set time.  They take them in the morning when they wake up with their first bottle, anywhere between 6-7.  The 2nd dose is in the afternoon, anywhere from 1-4 and at bedtime, 7-9.  We don’t wake them for meds as our endo says this is unnecessary.  He said that as long as it is roughly evenly seperated it is fine.  He says that some people prefer to do it on a strict regimen but that is doesn’t have to be that way.  We just kind of arrange it around their sleeping and feeding and they are doing great this way. Hope this helps.
