We too, always try to give with food or milk. Cortef can cause ulcers and osteoporosis (we give calcium supplements, hope it helps?). For the 3am dose se squirt milk in her mouth but it is probably only a tablespoon and I worry if it’s enough. Lately my daughter says her stomach hurts. I brushed it off to a 3 years trying to get attention. Then when I let her know I was concerned and we would tell her ped at the next appt and what they might do etc she said she was joking. I think she says it instead of I’m full or when she tries to get out of finishing her dinner. Who knows but I am concerned it’s for real and will mention it at upcoming appt. I guess the pepcid ac couldn’t hurt, right? Hmmm.
