Temperature is up again!

I have an appointment for my baby with his endo tomorrows but his temperature is very high.  It was a little over 102 in the morning.  I doubled his dose and I’m considering tripling it if it gets anything worse.  I’m thinking if it’s worth going to the endo in a state when all his levels are so messed up.  I was considering canceling the appointment, but on the other hand maybe it’s even good if the endo sees him with fever once.  It might be helpful to have blood works done at a time like this, to see what effect stress dosing has on him.  Besides, I’m thinking, a six month old with CAH, needs to see an endo often, even if it’s only for taking weight and measurements.  If I don’t keep this appointment ,I’ll have to wait at least another month, or hope for a cancellation in between, to get another appointment.  Even this way I have to be lucky that he’ll be fine at that time.  I’ve tried to call the endo, but I wasn’t able to get through.  Now I’m in a dilemma, I can’t decide what’s best to do.  Was anybody ever in a similar situation?
