putting meds in a bottle

This is just my opinion, so you can take it or leave it. I debated with myself before posting, but I decided it was too important to worry about making someone mad because I disagree with their methods.

Cortef (or any medication for that matter) should never be put in a bottle.  Regardless of your dosing schedule -- be it 2, 3 or 4 times a day, every 8 hours, or along with a sleep schedule -- you have to be absolutley certain that your child has received all of their medication.

When it is put into a bottle there are several potential problems.  One is that the bottle is not finished. A second one is that Cortef will not disolve -- therefore even if the bottle is finished, particals of the med can be left in the bottle/nipple.

Best regards,

Janet
